Insomnia and CBD

Currently, 70 million people suffer from insomnia or other sleep disorders in the United States. There are two types of insomnia, acute and chronic. Acute insomnia lasts for short periods of time. Whereas, chronic insomnia lasts for longer periods of time. Some symptoms of insomnia include tiredness throughout the day, irritability, general exhaustion and memory problems. Common causes of insomnia include stress, depression, emotional/physical discomfort, and certain types of medication. Could CBD help with insomnia?

Inside the body’s endocannabinoid system there is a receptor called the adenosine receptor. Studies believe the anti-anxiety property of CBD activates this receptor causing positive results in those suffering from insomnia. Studies say that people suffering from sleep disorders found relief such as sound sleep after the use of CBD.

We do not make any claims that CBD will cure or benefit you. However,  numerous studies have been performed to try and prove that CBD has positive effects when taken by someone who has insomnia or sleep disorders.  We encourage you to do your own research to  learn more about the benefits of CBD.
